ERWIN WURM SHOW IN THE KAISERPARK BAD ISCHL, AUSTRIA

During our annual summer break near Salzburg we visited Erwin Wurm’s impressive retrospective. Erwin Wurm is an acclaimed Austrian contemporary artist renowned for expanding the boundaries of sculpture. He humorously critiques consumer culture, human identity, and social norms by distorting everyday objects (like „fat“ houses and cars) and inviting audience interaction. The setting in the historic Kaiserpark and in the “ Marmorschloessl“ gave a wonderful mix of Austrian history, culture, nature and contemporary Austrian art.
