NEW IN THE COLLECTION – MIRE LEE

In 2024, I visited together with my children Tate Modern and we saw how South Korean artist Mire Lee prepared the huge „Open Wound“ installation in the turbine hall – a powerful work blending bodily and industrial elements. Her use of industrial materials in kinetic shapes is intriguing and her challenge of social constructs and our industrial society is timely. With this context I was happy when I found at Antenna Space gallery a series smaller works but in exactly same kinetic, industrial and bodily style and equally intriguing.
